At least 75 leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami were arrested from different parts ofGaibandha early Friday.
Police said the 75 leaders and activists of BNP-Jamaat were arrested during the overnight drive on charge of carrying out sabotage and blocking roads and torching vehicles .
Police arrested nine activists of BNP-Jamaat from Saghata upazila, three from Fulchhari, four from Palashbari, 13 from Gobindaganj, nine from Sadullapur, 13 from Sundarganj and 18 from sadar upazila of the district.
